War

War is an iconic card game of pure chance. Your victory largely depends on fortune. Test fate and take all the cards from the deck!

This is a game of pure luck. No strategy is needed to win — everything is decided by the rank of the card drawn from your face-down pile.

To collect the entire deck of cards.

  1. Starting a Turn: The game begins by dealing cards to players face down. Players take turns. One player reveals their first card and places it on the table. The second player also places their card face up.
  2. Determining the Round Winner: The player whose card is the highest rank takes all cards played in that round and places them at the bottom of their pile.
  3. Card Rank Order: Card rank is determined standardly: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6… The lowest cards are the two in a 52-card deck, or the six in a 36-card deck. Exceptionally, the lowest cards beat the Ace.

When a “War” occurs (players reveal cards of the same rank):

  • Players place one card face down, then one card face up.
  • The player with the higher face-up card wins all cards on the table.
  • If a player has only one card left, the war continues without the face-down card.
  • A player who has no cards left to continue the war loses the war and the cards are taken by the opponent.
  • A player who runs out of cards loses.
  • The game ends when one player collects the entire deck.
  • Automatic Score Tracking — the system keeps statistics of wins and losses.
  • Leaderboards — participate in tournaments and climb the overall ranking.
